Is it wrong of me to expect a manufacturer to have firmware available for download? Bought a #Quectel EM06 module and based on web searches, the way to get the firmware is to post your current version on the forums and they will email you a firmware delta?! Surely I'm not the one that has the wrong expectations here?

@ai6yr @sciencewrighter here are the guts of this #StarGard SH950MV. It's got a 400mAh 3.7v lithium battery which I assume is enough to send out a message if battery power from the vehicle is cut.

There's a Verizon micro SIM that's removable.

The cellular chip is a #Quectel BG95-M6.

The antenna p/n is NDX-TM90M-V02.

I wonder if I could use this micro SIM in a cell phone or a cell module on an Arduino or Raspberry Pi 🤔🤔
