Hey folks! It's your friendly mod Glitch here, and I could use some major assistance for January.

My laptop died over the Christmas holiday, just as I was returning to streaming, disrupting my ability to create any kind of content. Since I am disabled and still have not been able to qualify for disability, being able to hold down a full time job is impossible, and streaming and content creation allows me to have a flexible schedule doing things I love to do.

I am looking to at least help pay my friends rent so she can stay in her apartment complex for another month. Any other amount would be appreciated though. $0/$500 I am reaching out to provide some mutual aid for a very good friend of mine, Toney. She knows I am doing this for her and she certainly will appreciate any help that is willing to be given. This friend needs $150 by January 1, 2026 to pay all of her rent and a total of $500 to pay all her bills for the month of January. This friend will use all of her SSI and the $150 to pay rent but have nothing left for basic items. My friend has been put into a very difficult situation with the holder of the lease of the apartment Just leaving without any notice and leaving her with the rent. She does not have all the rent and was already late one month and was unable to get in contact with rental assistance agencies in time for them to say she can get help for January. If she were able to give them a month notice the agencies could help. She was abruptly given this choice and was not expecting to have to budget for the entire rent of the apartment. This friend is a demigirl or gender non-conforming individual apart of the LGBTQ plus community. Who has a retired service dog and a service dog in training. These two dogs will not be able to get homes right away if she is evicted in January. The latest the $150 is needed is January 5th by 11pm Eastern. Toney has a psychiatric disability and needs her retired dog for some basic tasks and her dog in training to learn the more in depth tasks to live her life to the best of her ability. If you are able to donate to keep my friend and her dogs off the streets that would be so appreciated. She is looking into more affordable apartments but they will not be available until this lease she is stuck with is over. So she can either fill one out herself or go to a different cheaper apartment that will not be ready for a few months. hi fedi, i'm sorry to ask for #mutualaid funds so soon after my last request for them & this close to christmas, but i need funds to pay my water bill. it's $32.77 & due on the 29th december, & i don't think i'll be able to pay it by then... i've been buying christmas etc. presents & gift bags (i'm shit at wrapping gifts) for my chosen family & paying my rent & other bills, so i don't have enough left over to pay it....... i'm also seeing my boyfriend later today & staying overnight since it's christmas eve in our time zone, so that $11.21 will go to buying snacks & a caffienated drink along the way. the $1.08 is my savings.

i'm on disability payments & my rent is over half of it. i need to live by myself for multiple reasons like trauma, so the bills & groceries aren't split. my groceries are expensive because i'm on a medically restricted diet, i have sensitive skin & sensory issues. while at the moment i don't pay for the majority of my meds thanks to me hitting the medicare safety net limit, that'll change on the 1st of january when the limit resets. i'm on a lot of meds too.

i've had to increase my private health insurance coverage, so its cost will increase from next week onwards. i'm also looking into getting renter's insurance because i'm worried 1 of my original family members will break in & fuck my shit up, or i get impacted by a natural/man-made disaster.

i'm estranged from my original family because they're mostly abusive bigots who treated me like shit, especially after i came out as a trans man, & i don't want to make things awkward for the ones who aren't. i don't have anyone in my non-fedi life i can ask to pay this for me, even though it's not a huge amount. my friends/chosen family are all poor &/or live paycheck to paycheck. i can't ask my boyfriend either since i already owe him money, & soon i'm going to owe him more because i need a medical scan that costs $200+ since australian medicare no longer covers it... the scan is for a longterm condition i have that i'd like to keep private.

we really need to replace the outer tyre of our bus and really need help with the currency with mutual aid

it has damaged treads (3rd image) and something in it that if it lets go it releases 120psi which can be deadly

it is also ready to throw its treads at some near point in the future and recently has developed a tear on the retreads (1st image)

they need to also be replaced with mud and snow tyres considering in order to stay out of the way as we build out the bus we need to be in the middle of the forest

we found out about this puncture (2nd image) while adding more solar to the bus and when semi truck/bus tyre goes it can be a hazard to everyone

we need atleast to raise 600 usd
800 ideally to replace both dualie tyres as they are the same age and are both retreads
