next is my favourite green tea, Sencha "Chiran". this one isn't cheap so i'm happy to receive it as a present. not much is left, but i have another kind of Sencha ready to replace it.

Why are the instructions for making #greentea #sencha so vastly different when comparing #japan to #Europe? According to #ippodo or #fukujuen #tea sencha supposedly has a brew ratio of ~0.05. On #sencha I ordered in #europe the ratio supposedly is ~0.02...

Je pense que je vais faire un fil sur les thé japonais, comment ça marche, pourquoi des différences dans les thés alors que c'est la même plante, tout ça, parce qu'à force de tout lire dessus, je connais plein de choses sur le sujet et c'est super intéressant (de mon point de vue de meuf en hyperfocus là-dessus). J'ai même l'astuce ultime pour profiter du thé même quand on a un manque de fer 👀

A few weeks ago I attended a Tea & Techno event organized by Tearoom Utö / Timo Wright in Owan restaurant, Helsinki 🍵

I first enjoyed a deliciously sweet and smooth Okuyutaka Kirishima from Kagoshima, followed by a strong and umami Asatsuya, also from Kagoshima.

The music was lovely, surprisingly low volume so it created a nice ambience and we were still able to have conversations.

Great music, great tea, great chats and company, perfect vibes 💚
