I just set static ip for a printer for first time.
What I learned is for the ip only has 2 digital. Instead of put 0 in front. The way it worked is move the cursor to the second number and just skip the one has 0.
If I manually input the 0 for the ones only has 2 digital. Received an error.

We are switching to #Verizon #Fios. There was a foo foo rah about our #staticIP: the installer thought it didn't go on our server, but on his router, and if we wanted the server to have one, we had to buy more. After he left, we discovered #DMZhost on the router, which theoretically does exactly the right thing.
Are there any gotchas about using this mechanism to get our static IP assigned to our server for "everything that isn't their voice over IP box"?
