Remembering the women who served in the ATS WW2:
Catherine Drabble daughter of Walter Drabble and Catherine Fawden. She was born in 1911, Shirebrook, Derbyshire.
In 1921 Catherine was at school aged 9 and lived with her family at 5 Longden Terrace, Worksop, Nottingham.
Her family eventually moved to Armthorpe, Doncaster.
Catherine joined the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS). Rank Private. Service No. W/94114. She died on 8th June 1945, aged 33. She is buried at St. Leonard & St. Mary's Churchyard, Armthorpe, Doncaster. Private Catherine Drabble is also remembered on the Armthorpe War Memorial. #WW2 #ATS
