Looking into Immich and self-hosting to replace Amazon Photos for my family, but the costs seem prohibitive. I currently pay ~$80/year for ~1.25TB of video/photo storage, between my wife and I, on Amazon. The equivalent VPS (Digital Ocean) with that much storage is roughly $148/month.

Am I missing something? How do y'all use VPS for image hosting storage and not go broke? 🤔

Die App Amazon Photos möchte nun alle Fotos von dem neuen Telefon wieder in die Cloud synchronisieren.

Hoffentlich gibt es da eine "lösche doppelte Bilder"-Funktion.

I've often read and heard bad things about the #AmazonPhotos app that you have to have in order to use their service and since I mainly run #Linux I haven't had that many dealings with it. But I need to get a bunch of data and decided to just install #Windows10 in a #VM on my #Proxmox

Longer story shorter, I just noticed that the freaking app is #32bit ..

Interessant, dass bei #AmazonPhotos die Fotos nicht Tag täglich übermittelt wird, sondern nur wöchentlich oder noch länger bis diese passiert.

Warum weiß ich selbst nicht, obwohl alles richtig eingestellt ist.

I'm absolutely loathing the new Android update to Amazon Photos. I can't easily see or access any photos not uploaded already or edit anything.
