Et j'ai donc avancé pour #DeGooglisser #Dropbox et #GoogleDrive. J'ai remarqué que #Davx5 gérait aussi les points de montage WebDAV, pourquoi pas essayer? C'est une techno plutôt légère, ça se branche directement sur un système de fichiers existant, c'est plutôt raccord avec mes objectifs sur ce thread!

Trois options testées:

- Nginx avec le module WebDAV. Bof. Pas beaucoup d'options pour configurer et j'aime pas du tout le fait que tous mes services web partagent aussi la gestion de fichiers sur mon NAS, ce que j'avais fortement cloisonné jusqu'ici.

Questo breve tutorial non è per chi usa distro che contengono già il pacchetto dropbox nei loro repository, quanto per chi – come me – non avendolo nei repositori ufficiali di Arch Linux dovrebbe affidarsi a AUR (ma io AUR lo evito come la peste)...

I really only use #dropbox out of habit and if they're moving to #linux hostility, perhaps it's time to finally stop paying them rent.

(My desktop manager does not require an "upgrade" to support gui bullshit. If I wanted to spend more processor cycles on stupid graphics, I would have already done so.)

Hey #Dropbox, I don't mind being informed of new features immediately after installing a software update. I seriously object to you interrupting me a day later while I'm in the middle of doing something.

#Dropbox said in their latest update that they were moving the folder out of the root of my home folder to … somewhere. It was in the Finder sidebar so I used ⌘-⌥-C to get the text path. It's now in ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox, although an alias is in ~/.

That's kinda important if you're excluding files in backups, or using app or scripts for sync like 1Password 7 as those have to be updated. Even though there was an alias, 1P was not happy and had to be updated. Probably Arq Backup too.

You can use Syncthing, FolderSync… even the monster Dropbox… What I use is Filen, but you have to manually download the folder for Android. This is not a big problem for me, though, because I'm mostly a PC user 💻️ I might look for other options in the future, but I'm OK now.
💡 Ah, and not to forget: You could use Logseq's sync if you like it in order to support the project (I personally enjoy it a lot, it helps me very much with learning, and it's not so hard to learn how to use it if what you want is not highly advanced text formatting)

CVE-2025-24054, NTLM Exploit in the Wild

A critical vulnerability, CVE-2025-24054, related to NTLM hash disclosure via spoofing, has been actively exploited since March 19, 2025. The flaw allows attackers to leak NTLM hashes or user passwords using a maliciously crafted .library-ms file, potentially compromising systems. A campaign targeting government and private institutions in Poland and Romania used malspam to distribute Dropbox links containing archives exploiting this vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered with minimal user interaction, such as right-clicking or navigating to the folder containing the malicious file. This vulnerability appears to be a variant of the previously patched CVE-2024-43451, sharing several similarities.
