@Rockndoll Soweit ich weiß ist das #AndroidOS ohne Zusatz-Apps #OpenSource - von daher ist der Einsatz von #degoogle Android wie #LineageOS, #eos oder #GrapheneOS durchaus sinnvoll. Mit dem #FOSS Part von #Android machen Google, Facebook und Co sicher keinen Gewinn.Jedes bißchen hilft....

Here we go.
Background. We try to resist as much as possible getting rid of electronics if they still work. E.g. we have an old dual-core Acer laptop that we installed #zorin_os and we use it for streaming.
So this year's project is changing the #AndroidOS in a Breeze tablet with Linux; with #ubuntutouch. It will surely be painful as tablets are finicky, but it will also be a learning experience. Apart from rescuing a good tablet, it will be a stepping stone for the same on our phones.

I have fingerprint unlocking set up on my Pixel 7a, this model has the fingerprint scanner under the touchscreen rather than on the back.

Sometimes when I unlock the phone it immediately triggers a tap on the app that is on screen after the unlock. This is most noticable in Spotify, but I think it happens for YouTube as well.

Is this an app thing or an Android OS thing?
Is there a way to set a tap delay after unlocking the phone?

The GUI is completely broken on #androidOS and it seems, that the programmers simply do not care about UI and GUI. For years now.

It's okay. But it's not for me though ... :-(

It is yet another dead service in the #fediverse of things.
