TIL you can install the Arch Wiki offline on your computer with pacman. To do this, run:

sudo pacman -S arch-wiki-docs

This installs the wiki in html form on your system at:

/usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/html/en/

And can be read with your browser with:

file:///usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/html/en/Main_page.html

If you don't want the html version, you can also install arch-wiki-lite and use CLI or even wikiman - which is another amazing tool and works on/for other distros https://github.com/filiparag/wikiman?tab=readme-ov-file#additional-documentation-sources

Eso instala todo en `/usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/html` y desde ahí se pueden explorar los artículos en html con el gestor de archivos o desde el mismo navegador.

@Natanox technically, in my case, #KDEneon integrates voluntary submissions of crash reports - it's called "Dr. Konqi". AFAIK, KDEneon is stable-ish Ubuntu PLUS a rolling scheme of KDE things.

Next time, i'd choose #Manjaro, because their scheme is slightly less "rolling release".

I keep hesitating, because everything keeps telling me that it's not-actually #ARCH #Linux, and the #ArchWiki doesn't exactly apply.

Also, it's not #Debian - i grew up on debs! …oof 😅

#Linux audio is bizarrely confusing to a regular user lol - if I were to configure a #PulseAudio setting (i.e. clock.force-quantum) but obviously most systems now have moved to using #PipeWire, but from what I can tell or think to understand is that systems use PipeWire via something called #WirePlumber, should this (user-specific) configuration be done in a WirePlumber config, or PipeWire? I normally could learn these things easily through the #ArchWiki, but so far, this topic is completely lost on me lol.

Everyone uses the @archlinux #archwiki when faced with a complex topic right? Been very impressed with @SUSE documentation on #libvirt #kvm #qemu and #vmmanager over the last few days. Another #KDE Wallet question I've been trying to figure out since last nite: Is it really not possible to have it auto-unlock once for all (allowed) apps to access/read from upon login in an autologin (SDDM) desktop?

Following the #ArchWiki, it seems to suggest that you could (on #KDEPlasma) by:

- Installing kwallet-pam
- Create a (default) wallet named kdewallet using blowfish encryption instead of using a GPG key
- Set the same password for the wallet as your user password

and yet after an auto login to the desktop, whenever an app needs access to the wallet I created, I need to enter the password once for each app.

Perhaps I should also configure PAM as shown in the (confusing) subtopic of the linked guide in the wiki - eventho it says SDDM should not require any edit?

It said that these lines should be present (in PAM):

auth            optional        pam_kwallet5.so
session         optional        pam_kwallet5.so auto_start

-auth       optional    pam_kwallet5.so
