We are also self recording all of our poems for our poetry compilation (Eternity In the Palms of Our Hands) for those who are visually impaired. It will also serve as an aid and read-along (with bonus details) to how they are intended to be read as not all of the wording is straight forward in our various styles. Currently we only have a majority of the Prologue recorded as that has been written in the last year and is easy to remember the rhythm to. #aspiringauthors #dissociativesystem #poetry

One thing that I would like to say to #AspiringAuthors is that it is a highly emotional journey when you do become published. The biggest high involved is the feeling of picking up your first print copy. The pride, the joy, the hype is a feeling that no one can ever prepare you for. It's immensely awesome!
Getting your first reader that you do not know comes next. And it goes and goes from there. It's a boost of self confidence on a level like no other. #writingcommunity #bookstodon

Something else about me: I spent a lot of time writing #novels and created a #fantasy #series that won several #awards and did surprising well for someone who's #SelfPublished. But then my #SelfWorth, #MentalHealth and #Identity got so tied up with #sales and #reviews that I had to stop. It's been about a year. I'm doing better now. I might go back to it someday. But until then I'm doing everything I can to use what I learned to help other #AspiringAuthors so they don't burn out like I did.
