Auf der Suche nach einem leichtgewichtigen und kostenlosen Audioplayer für Wordpress?

Ich hab' mich totgesucht und war am Ende so frustriert nichts wirklich passendes gefunden zu haben.

Entweder waren die Player mit viel zu vielen Features überfrachtet oder mir schlicht zu teuer.

Also habe ich mich selbst dran gesetzt. Ein bisschen PHP, etwas JS und CSS. Und ja, ChatGPT hat auch geholfen.

Amarok 3.3 released!

A new version of Amarok is now live for the KDE Plasma desktop to maximize compatibility with the sixth major version by using the QT6 and KDE Framework 6 backend to bring over the UI improvements. It was released after the Amarok 3.0 release that happened over a year ago.

This version of Amarok uses GStreamer as the backed to provide a unified user experience, compared to the Phonon backend that Amarok used in the past. The KDE development team considered this merge to GStreamer to provide the “unified feature set for all users and should provide a solid and future-proof sonic experience for years to come.”

In addition to that, the improved character set has been integrated to the database system to allow emojis and other unusual characters in the podcast descriptions. Furthermore, Amarok 3.3 is now ready to handle the Year 2038 problem by switching to 64-bit time structure to allow years further than that.

The KDE team has confirmed that a new major release, Amarok 4.0, is underway to bring UI improvements and other exciting features.

You’ll be able to download Amarok 3.3 as soon as your distribution provides it, or you can build from source.

Как и у многих, у меня накопилось слишком много подписок: некоторые у Apple (iCloud, Apple Music), другие потерялись на разных платформах (например, на Netflix — я и забыл, что всё ещё плачу за него). При наличии тщательно подобранной локальной библиотеки я ничего особо не потерял. Поначалу я думал, что просто продолжу использовать iCloud Music Library для синхронизации музыки между устройствами, но после отмены подписки на Apple Music синхронизация перестала работать. Оказалось, за эту функцию нужно платить . Строго говоря, её можно вернуть при помощи iTunes Match (24,99 $ в год) . Match просто хранит AAC-копии с битрейтом 256 кбит/с; ваши исходные файлы остаются на месте, если вы не захотите удалить их. На современных Mac всё это делается в приложении Music. При отсутствии подписок синхронизация с облаком отключается и остаётся лишь синхронизация по кабелю/Wi-Fi. Раздосадованный ограниченностью возможностей, я решил взяться за разработку . Если уж я купил вычислительное устройство (в данном случае iPhone), то что мешает мне просто создать необходимое мне при помощи кода? В этой статье я расскажу о своих разочарованиях по пути к реализации базовой функциональности музыкального плеера: загрузки аудиофайлов, их упорядочивания и воспроизведения. Но больше всего мне хотелось напомнить себе, что это просто компьютер, и у меня должна быть возможность заставить его выполнять нужные мне задачи .

BassBoom v0.1.x EOL Announcement

BassBoom v0.0.1 was released on October 1st, 2023, as one of the flagship projects that came after Nitrocid and Terminaux. We were excited to come up with this version of the music player. Later, we’ve released BassBoom v0.1.0, which brought many amazing features from radio stations to ARM64 computer support. This happened on May 31st, 2024.

We are announcing the end of support for the BassBoom v0.1.x version series as part of our plan to continue enhancing our projects. After May 31st, 2025, we won’t provide any more support, and its documentation will be moved to the deprecated manual part of our GitBook instance.

If you want to continue receiving support from us, please use the latest version of BassBoom, which is still supported, until the new generation of BassBoom gets released. We are committed to providing the best experience for all developers and users alike.
