We are entering 2026 without support for ed25519 SSH keys in #Microsoft's enterprise project management software #AzureDevOps.
But I guess ssh-rsa is secure enough.
Let's ignore that it has been deprecated in OpenSSH for years now and that git warns about it with each and every push and fetch operation.
"AI" development is way more important, I guess.
Fuck this company.
I can't believe how good the Azure DevOps Plugin for IntelliJ by @jgafner is.
It's got all the features you can think of so you never have to use the Azure DevOps web UI again. Especially being able stay in the IDE for PR code reviews is very helpful.
Anyone who has to work with Azure DevOps and uses a JetBrains IDE should check it out.

The company is harassing #devs to #vibecode to justify paying for #aislop services. I asked #copilot to refactor a pipeline to add reviewers if certain keywords are in commits. It happily changed a 60 line yaml making #azuredevops api calls into 4 lines of bash, finishing with a vso logging command that looked perfect. Trouble is, it hallucinated an answer as the logging command it gave me doesnt exist. I told it so and it apologised, then gave me almost my exact code back as the solution.
Has anyone ever successfully created a pull request using the #azuredevops official SDK ?
I'm trying to add support of this feature on my https://github.com/candoumbe/Pipelines but I can't figure out the right way to do it.
I want to add support for that repository so that I could use it both at work and for personal stuff.

Tengo que desplegar en Azure un cluster AKS (kubernetes) y no tengo a penas idea de Azure.
Pues bien, en lugar de usar ChatGPT, Gemini o Claude, estoy reutilizando y adaptando el código que otros compañeros hicieron antes que yo en otros proyectos. He estado leyendo también documentación, pero con cuidado porque ya sabemos que leer y comprender documentación oficial da cefalea y nos podemos caer del asiento, y finalmente me he puesto a desplegar cosas.
Y ¿sabéis qué?

Moraleja: el que no sepa leer ni tenga curiosidad por aprender no tiene cabida en el mundo laboral del mañana.
