Months ago, I borrowed a #Super8 #cinefilm digitizer from a friend to convert my Dad's archive and reasonably enough he now wants it back. I finished scanning the last reel and converted the resulting files into an #iMovie project. Super 8 is 4:3.
#Doh time. iMovie does not support full-frame 4:3 output so it's 16:9 at various resolutions only. The best I can do is force iMovie to not automatically crop the frames to 16:9 and then output that as 720p for DVD-R mastering.
