A cyclone forms over warm seawater; higher water temperature creates a stronger cyclone. The earth rotates under it, making it appear to go west and away from the equator.

When discussing the #EnergyTransition people often simplify the general, all important, topic: DEPENDABLE energy systems. What’s the use of ‘clean’ energy if it shuts down every time.
Bearing in mind that it’s all about a transition [changing, evolving and improving] with a end goal still undetermined. Just abolishing one source and hallowing another is too easy [and it never is]. It will take a enormous effort, research [and money] to reach the end goal.
I don’t have to stress the urgency to reach the goal. ‘We’ [humanity] have been procrastinating the inevitable so long that the goal is the only solution against suffocation, is the transition to a clean source of the energy to drive ‘our’ civilization.
You may want to react with that the video is about Australia. Don’t ! ‘cause it is.
I share it only to suggest solutions on the integration. Like Flinders Island [Dutch ‘vlinders’ transl as butterflies].
In my mind ‘we’ should
* all make our own energy, depending only on the grid in an emergency.
* use every possibility of clean energy
* decentralize the political power of the main energy suppliers. Undermine the monopoly !
* we can’t burn things anymore
Put some critical thinking into it in stead of saying ‘can’t’ or ‘ney’ or other dumb shit.
Cause if you don’t think, you’re not worthy of the power.
