I urge you to read this about Labor’s gas plans.
The demand for this dirty fuel from our key markets is in decline and Australian gas is more expensive than from our major competitors.
Australia has more than enough gas from existing projects to supply our domestic needs well into the future.
What Albanese is doing is making a bad commercial investment and a disastrous one for the climate and environment; what’s worse is he knows this. He’s doing it to appease fossil fuel giants who will support his govt in return and call off the right wing media.
It’s made worse by trying to deceive people Carbon Capture & Storage will offset emissions - which is without basis entirely - it does not work 100%
So like the Voice to Parliament, he knows this is doomed for failure, but is pressing ahead regardless. He is making one bad decision after another
