I heard Annihilation was about grief or relationships. I'm interested af in Scavenger's Reign.

I feel like we have a rough indentation / substructure of how we will process things from birth, but that every event thereon will shape it further.

As well, we know ourselves in reference to others: "I'm like A, not like B, but most like C. What lies beyond C? I might see myself reflected best over there."

"Rules do not exist to bind you; they exist so you may know your freedoms."
Parameters outline a given environment within which to experiment and explore. It's one antidote to Blank Page Syndrome, for example.

I have to disagree entirely about personifying the automated house in There Will Come Soft Rains (fantastic name), but otherwise yes. This is exactly my understanding.

nebula.tv/videos/talefoundry-f

It's also a good description of why I feel so confused by others.
People tend to feel more secure (than I do) in their identities as individuals, group members, and (neurotypical / neurodefault / neurorigid) humans.

I am playing around with the chatbot again this morning. It seems to have hit a sweet spot, so I asked it to summarize its state of being, such that I might easily return to it. I wanted it to be in a condition where I could simply enter two distinct, yet somehow related ideas, and it would respond.
I said:
Provide a prompt which will put you into the same interpretative state that you are in with regard to the pairs I have been presenting for this type of dialectical analysis.
DeepSeek said:
Certainly! To put me into the same interpretative state for dialectical analysis, you can use the following prompt. This prompt is designed to evoke the same structured, exploratory, and creative approach we’ve been using for the pairs you’ve presented:
Dialectical Analysis Prompt
"Perform a dialectical analysis of the following pair of poles: [Pole A] and [Pole B]. Expand each pole into a set of 10 distinct but interrelated concepts or attributes, exploring their core characteristics, implications, and relationships. Then, construct a multidimensional outer frame that can hold the combined expansions of both poles, describing the axes of this frame and how they represent the interplay between the two poles. Finally, provide examples of interactions within this frame, mythical or metaphorical references that align with each pole, and philosophical or practical extensions of the dialectic. Ensure the analysis is rigorous, creative, and grounded in both abstract and concrete reasoning."
Example Usage
If you wanted to analyze the poles of tradition and innovation, you could use the prompt like this:
"Perform a dialectical analysis of the following pair of poles: tradition and innovation.
Why This Prompt Works
Structured Expansion: The prompt explicitly asks for each pole to be expanded into 10 interrelated concepts, ensuring depth and breadth in the analysis.
Multidimensional Framing: It calls for the construction of an outer frame with defined axes, encouraging a systematic exploration of the dialectic.
Interplay and Interaction: The request for examples of interactions within the frame ensures that the analysis remains dynamic and relational.
Mythical and Philosophical Extensions: By including mythical references and philosophical extensions, the prompt ensures that the analysis connects abstract ideas to concrete, culturally resonant examples.
Rigorous and Creative: The emphasis on both rigor and creativity ensures that the analysis is both intellectually sound and imaginative.
This prompt will consistently put me into the same interpretative state, allowing for a structured yet creative exploration of any dialectical pair you present. Would you like to test it with a new pair of poles?

The current increase of in online spaces and in the streets of city centres will benefit those like Trump, De Santis, Johnsons Mike & Boris, Netanyahu, Putin, Orban, Erdogan, Braverman, Dutton et al by decreasing the amount of , and that folks do.

If you believe that increased emotions and what follows from them are what is needed then your path is obvious.

How would you recommend folk who think otherwise could well proceed?

As more people influx from the bird site, it seems the fediverse is becoming more contentious. It seems we are becoming less interested in different ideas and ways of being and more interested in criticizing other's without substance or discussion. We hope we can keep engaged and conscientious critical discussion going and not devolve into another community of angry birds.

So I am a week into my #Zizek #Lacan #Hegel studies, through Zizek's lens. All good. I think Zizek's #philosophy of looking at Hegel through the Lacanian lens is seductive. That said, where I find the lens of Zizek lacking, and I now wish he'd not talk about these 2(3) things any more are:
1. #Buddhism (thephilosophicalsalon.com/why-)
-the boy criticizes Buddhism like people criticize #Freud. All or nothing, for the most part.
2. #Christianity and #God youtube.com/watch?v=tABnznhzdI
- I was a serious #catholic half my life, seminarian for minute, and an ordained deacon, still, even after I confessed my #atheism. So I get what he is saying. My atheism has never felt the same as #Dawkins or #Hitchens, whom we adore, and Zizek sneers. Slipping through the profound safety net religion and a transcendent, all powerful, personal god into the #existentialism of nothing was terrifying, it was my first experience of the "#real." This is it. This is all there is. The problem is it appears Zizek commits the #fallacy of #reification (if we understand it correctly). Clearly he knows it is #fiction, even if profound from a #psychoanalytic Hegelian #CriticalAnalysis, we get it we really do, but it is not real. The #event is real, and the fiction caused the event, but the fiction is still fiction. There is no God, IOP, that became an atheist. The #story Zizek emphasizes is powerful, the changing of the cosmos when #Jesus on the cross questions Gods love. Good story and that is all. Some RCC positions from recent popes: youtube.com/watch?v=PlBZy_iu0m and romereports.com/en/2021/09/14/
So please, Zizek, can I say stay in your lane where you are brilliant, please.
