After Monday’s “resin in the eye” situation, I thought it best to do safety first 😂

Evening’s work was to sand down the fibreglass, especially around the bits where I cocked up. Got a topcoat to go on next, which I’m hoping will fill and seal the remaining gaps

Turns out my attempt at preventing the ply from soaking up resin didn’t work well on the sides, and had a few spots that didn’t laminate properly #diy

Mr. Mower bit into a rock and now the blade is not only dull again but missing a good chunk and vibrating.

I've patched it up again but took measurements for a replacement. Although probably should hold off until I've found all the rocks first :-]

Day 35: that there's a fully assembled, fully dressed engine compartment! Fitting the exhaust is my task after lunch—and the last major task before adding fluids and seeing if it'll start! That'll have to wait until next week, though, as we're leaving tomorrow on a business trip.
