Aber bequem, naiv und blind, und infolgedessen "gutgläubig". Darauf hat jede/r Einzelne ein Recht. 🤷 #selbstSchuld
Aber Entscheidungstragende haben dieses Recht nicht. Die haben #Verantwortung. Und daher die Pflicht, sich über Folgen und Konsequenzen ihrer Entscheidungen kundig zu machen 👁️ und nachvollziehbar tragfähige Entscheidungen zu treffen, #logisch, #transparent, #LockIn-Folgekosten & Risiken inbegriffen.

Genau das plus #lockIn sind die #MS-Ziele. Und deren Marketingstrategie wurde von Entscheidungsträgern nicht als solche identifiziert und benannt.
Sie hat daher quasi unerkannt "im Dunklen" hervorragend gewirkt.
#Datensicherheit und #digitaleSouveränität sind nicht erst aufgrund akteller politischer Entwicklungen wichtig geworden. Verweise auf die #Geopolitik daher Nebelkerzen.
Die Risiken waren von Anbeginn ohne Expertenwissen klar, z.B. durch #1984

Meistens sind die hippen Tools auch noch #ClosedSource (zB #Obsidian). Mit einer Entscheidung für diese Software hat man schon mal einen #Lockin-Effekt, solange die Funktionalität nicht trivial ist. Das scheint vielen Menschen nicht bewusst zu sein.
Wenn dann die eigenen Informationen in Form von e. Markdown-Dialekt vorliegen, den man ohne Analyse + manuelle Konvertierung nicht in ein anderes (Markdown-)Format bringt, dann hat man trotz Textformat e. impliziten Lock-In-Effekt bei den Daten.
Entweder ein Werkzeug suchen mit einem ordentlichen, offenen Format ohne Mehrdeutigkeit oder sich bewusst auf konvertierbare Syntaxelemente beschränken.

@mspro @luca Ja schön blöd. Aber nach 30 Jahren zum ersten Mal draufkommen, dass er sich digital eingesperrt hat und das noch ohne Backup?
Das ist wohl mehr als nur grob naïv. 🤷
Ich hätte eventell Mitleid, wenn es jemand gewesen wäre, der soweit von der Technik entfernt ist, sodass man noch irgendwas herleiten könnte, wodurch es unmöglich gewesen ist, zu erfahren, dass man alles auf eine Karte gesetzt hat.
Aber diese Person hat sehr klar gemacht, als IT Profi beim Risikomanagement als auch beim #Backup komplett versagt zu haben.
Leute, lernt draus und haltet euch von solchen #lockin Situationen wie bei #Apple #Cloud fern oder managed die damit Risiken ordentlich. Glaubt ja nicht nur dem Marketing der Konzerne. Ihr seid denen absolut nichts wert und es fehlen die Prozesse, in solchen Situationen für Aufklärung und Einspruch zu sorgen.
