A slightly wonky week, so far. Monday, I had dual bookclubs and a pool session at noon. I had a soft tire and I had to refresh my memory on how to use the latest version of air dispensers. Initially, I started by letting air OUT of the tire. Fortunately, I figured out how to get it in the right direction. The guy from the convenience store came out to check on me, and he said that he goes to a mechanic to get his tires checked and filled because he doesn't trust their machine. One of the librarians running a book club was Korean, from Gwangju, so we had a good chat, using a little of her language and comparing notes about her hometown, the birthplace of Korean democracy.
Tuesday, I bussed to and from the downtown library #makerspace to do some sewing. Wednesday, I panicked when I couldn't find the container for my bank cards/driver's license since I'd put it somewhere safe! Also, no Mastodon!
The temperature today is SO cold, the tips of my fingers have some frostbite! Coffee was appreciated.
