Mariani, Rother, and Koss propose an annotation scheme for museum data, focusing on provenances to enhance transparency and accountability. In the digital era, museums leverage computational methods, including AI, to explore their societal role and provide insights into collection origins. In December we released a student zine on analyzing museum data (in German language). Titled "Museumsdaten analysieren. Beispiele und Prototypen" it features 42 projects - from maps to filters -, and was the basis for the students to develop 4 own prototypes, on gender aspects, art market and provenance research.
