Did I already mention that I have years of experience with tinkering with the WKWebView? 😄 I really like integrating web things into native containers.
One of my ideas is to adopt the web editor of #Nextcloud Notes in the #NextcloudNotes iOS app in a way that is offline capable and offers as much feature parity as possible. First experiments were promising and its easier than expected due to my past experience with the web stack. That could lead to a more consistent user experience.
Currently run my Android phone completely google free using apps from #Droidify and #aurorastore (both available from #fdroid )

Gestern habe ich noch ein paar Videos zu #Obsidian gesehen und fand die Möglichkeit mit dem Sync über meine #Nextcloud ganz interessant.
Nach einer Nacht darüber schlafen, werde ich wohl mein Setup mit #NextCloudNotes beibehalten, denn das beste System, ist ein einfaches System. #kiss #keepItSimpleStupid

I try also orgmode with #orgzlyrevived and I like it - I tried also #emacs but that too hermetic for me … :blob_sweat:
That was not my intention but given the progress within a work day (I spent some of my weekend on this) it might be more reasonable to just rewrite Nextcloud Notes for iOS from scratch with SwiftUI, SwiftData, EasyMDE in WKWebView and so on. 😳 There would definitely be major advantages. From user perspective to developer work. 😌
I mean, I did not get to ask myself "How would I do it, if I could start over?" for no reason. 😅

Might ask him if he's interested in up-streaming some of my changes. Before I do that though, there's an issue to be fixed with `svg-tag-make' that I caused by removing the hard-dependency on nano-theme fonts :cat_typing:

I use the web interface and Thunderbird at homr and an Android app on the go, but I can imagine that the web interface would be fine to use in a browser on your Librem 5 as well.
This option requires a Nextcloud server on which the notes are stored as Markdown or txt files

Yes, the #nextcloud #app is installed, running #lineageos 18.1.
After the author decided to drop support for plain login (only SSO available), the app is broken.

For the family shopping list, we are using #NextcloudNotes. We share it over a shares folder.
Otherwise I am a #emacs user and sync my config and notes over #nextcloud.
But I heard good stuff about #joplinapp. It's #evernote , #onenote substitute. Right?
@Iutech I love my workflow with #QOwnNotes on my Linux desktop and notebook and #NextCloudNotes on my mobile phone and other devices via webapp.
Privacy friendly, feature rich, sync works nicely and #Markdown support is all I could ask for! :ablobcathappypaws:

I'm running a #Wekan service on my #Yunohost server - and to me this really helpful to keep track of the many things I need to move forward.
All of this being #FOSS, I'd love to see #Nextcloud integrate more of that into #NextcloudNotes - but right now, Wekan still is worth the extra effort to me :mastolove:
