Question for any Overcast Users. I subscribed to a podcast tonight and it's refusing to be added to a playlist I have set up, and it refuses to save settings. I did a reboot of the phone, thinking it would help. I am at a lass. Any ideas? #Overcast

Of course, while struggling with #Overcast I also got angry with my damn iPhone so, fine, ya little black mirror bastard, volume up, down, wake-up, hold!!! And reset yer ass! Fucking godawful Apple POS. Debug the OS? Nah, reboot the fucking device. Fantasize about the sweet sound it makes when it accidentally falls into an industrial shredder. Goodbye wretched device. 😘 god damned technology. 🎉

Got into a cussing match with my iPhone before mowing too. Got me grumbly. Got ear-protection muffs with Bluetooth, so iPhone on, and this gripe was #Overcast so I queued up #RandomHorrorPodcastNumberNine and decided to start from the beginning. The app would play 30s of what I wanted then zoom to an accidentally played episode much later, so I’d stop and direct the app back to what I wanted. Irritating, constantly screwing up, so I dumped all the episodes in my phone and that did the trick.

I just discovered Listening Stats in @marcoarment’s #Overcast!!! Beautiful!

Is anyone out there using the Snipd podcast app? I’ve been an Overcast user for many years and am rather intrigued by all of the AI features Snipd includes. I listen to a lot of tech podcasts, so being able to easily access AI summaries of the topics being covered couple be quite useful. Curious what others’ experiences have been.
