Kommt darauf an, was genau du suchst. Auf dem Desktop verwende ich #QOwnNotes. Das kann auch wunderbar mit NextCloud Notes synchronisieren.

Die Alternative, die ich in Betracht gezogen hätte, hätte ich QOwnNotes nicht gefunden, wäre einfach die NextCloud File-Synchronisation gewesen, mit einem beliebigen Texteditor - in meinem Fall nvim.

I'd be surprised to see Nextcloud notes, and other directories use IMAP. What I'm sure it supports (because I use it that way) is #webdav

If Notes is an important part of your workflow, you might consider #QOwnNotes as stand alone app on the computer.

Apart form thet #Obsidian might also be a good candidate, that is also available for iOS. Though I don't have any experience with it yet.

What are we swearing by for notes these days, fedi friends? I sync with #nextcloud and I use the Nextcloud Notes app on my phone... Desktop is a head scratcher. I'm resigned to #QOwnNotes right now but... I'm interested to hear what might be better. LMK! 💜

I'm currently using #obsidian, but it's far too system-heavy for me.
I came across #qownnotes more or less by chance. I think it's great, but I need the preview mode when I'm doing a training course in MS Teams, for example. I then show my scripts there and explain various processes to the participants based on the texts. Unfortunately the text is not centered in preview mode and I cannot adjust the font size or the linebreak...
Can you please enable this in the software?

Non sto a fare il solito pippone, che qui siamo tutti santi, eroi e navigatori, anche se un po' più ricchioni e comunisti rispettosi delle diversità, ma sappiate che grossomodo è così - fatevene una ragione.

Io sono un eremita digitale che si è messo in piedi il proprio server sulla pila di ciarpame sulla scrivania. Non ho affiliazioni, scrivo il mio blog, registro il mio podcast. Ma non avendo affiliazioni, non mi legge né mi ascolta (quasi) nessuno. Non ero nessuno su Twitter (non ci sono mai stato, in verità) né su Instagram. Ringrazio sempre il mio unico lettore o ascoltatrice oltre a mia moglie (che mente perché non mi ascolta quando parlo, figuriamoci se lo fa con il Podcast)... Perché lo faccio? Introduction

I'm not new to the #fediverse, but since in the last month the instances with which my goto.77nn.it is federated literally doubled, it feels ok to repeat my self-introduction for the newcomers (thanks to initiatives such as #eXit or #eXodus or wtf idk #quitX).

I'm not doing the usual tl;dr that here we're all saints, heroes and navigators, even if a little more gays and communist respectful towards diversity, but do know that this is about the way it is - deal with it.

I'm a digital hermit who put his own server up on the pile of junk that sits on the desktop. I have no affiliations, I write my blog, I record my podcast. But having no affiliations, almost nobody reads or listens to me. I was no one on Twitter (I've never actually been there) nor on Instagram. I always thank my sole reader or listener besides my wife (who lies because she does not listen to me when I speak, let alone if she does it with my Podcast)... Why do I do that? Because maybe tomorrow, when I'm dead, my daughters can listen to the shit I'm saying and laugh. Either they know a little better what I couldn't say straight to their faces or they didn't want to hear.

#Frage, warum kann man in #Markdown (*.md) keine Tabellenlinien anzeigen (Tabellendarstellung funktioniert) lassen?

Ist das nicht implementiert in Markdown oder habe ich hier etwas übersehen?

Ich nutze #kate bzw. #Qownnotes unter #Linux zur Erstellung von md Dateien.

Bei meinen persönlichen #NotizApp Vergleichstest hat momentan #QOwnnotes die Nase vorn. #Zim glänzt leider nicht so bei der Navigation (Handling) von mehreren Notizbüchern.

Die #NotizApp #QOwnNotes habe ich jetzt zusätzlich zur App #Zim installiert. Der erste Test ist auch recht vielversprechend. Positiv ist hervorzuheben die gelungene Integration in den #KDE #Linuxdesktop (Qt Programm) und die Anpassungsmöglichkeiten der Programmoberfläche.

Mal sehen wer sich im gegenseitigen Vergleich (Zim versus QOwnNotes) durchsetzen kann :mastocheeky:

... and a few days after, since I realized that #GoToSocial shares the same basic APIs as #Mastodon... and with really a little effort the Publish to GoToSocial became Publish to Fediverse script...

I do not have a lot of experience dealing with APIs, this is just my second attempt at building something that way and it could be a bug-factory... so please let me know if something doesn't work properly and I'll try to fix it!

So, as of today, #QOwnNotes gains the (very much beta) capability to publish to the #Fediverse!

After a few days after releasing my *Publish To GoToSocial* script for #QOwnNotes I realized that #GoToSocial implements the most basic #Mastodon APIs for authenticating and publishing... And here it comes the *Publish To Fediverse* script, in a version that, as you can see, published to Mastodon as well!

Yes, **Mastodon** does not support #Markdown and has only 500 characters to use, but that's not a big deal!

GoToSocial gains another integration

I just opened a pull request to #QOwnNotes repository to include my new publish-to-gts script.

With this script you can publish your #QON #markdown notes directly to your #GtS instance using your server's APIs, without need to sign in using a client.

This is helpful if you want to take advantage of all the superior editing and organization features offered by QOwnNotes.

Also, the notes you write can be kept safe and organized on your personal storage and you can publish them when they're ready and refined enough!

The script is at its first iteration, so beware of the man-eating-bugs!
Of course this post is published by the script.

I'm already working on the script's next iteration, for the following features:

• Leverage the new "secret" settings* added today by Patrizio (@patrizio) to try to be more robust in keeping the session secrets;
• Support media attachments* to notes (actually not supported);
• Add a post signature* feature to automatcially add markdown-enriched signature to your posts
• Add QON Tags associated with the note as actual hashtags* on the post
• Start working on the download posts feature... that will bring new shine when GoToSocial will implement the post editing feature!!!
