Rohas Tecnic Bhd (RTB) has bagged a construction contract worth RM199.84 million from #MRTS for the construction and completion of #BukitChagar's #facade for the Johor Bahru–Singapore #RapidTransitSystemLink (#RTSLink) Project - Package 8.
Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd (REI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rohas Tecnic, and Sediabena Builders Sdn Bhd (SBSB), are both involved in the design and fabrication of steel structures.

The construction of the #RTSLink’s #rail structures, #viaduct and other related areas are currently at 55 per cent completion, while the construction of the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (#CIQ) Complex is at nine per cent.
#Johor has identified three #LightRailTransit (#LRT) lines that stretches for 30km in and around #JohorBaru.
A development study had been previously conducted by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (#IRDA) and Johor Public Transport Corporation (#PAJ).
The study proposed that the LRT should be developed to complement the #RTSLink which is slated to be completed by early 2027.
The system will also complement the #EDTP and the #BRT.

Following the successful completion of a six-month MRTS Young Entrepreneur Program (#MYEP), participants were celebrated in a #Graduation Ceremony on 2 October 2023 in Johor Bahru.

#Malaysia will discuss with #Singapore to allow the #KTMB #ShuttleTebrau #train service to continue even after the completion of the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project.
Under the previous bilateral #agreement between the two countries, one of the agreed-upon conditions is to cease the operation of the KTMB Shuttle Tebrau service six months after the completion of the #RTSLink project.
Located in Wadi Hana, the maintenance depot is meant to keep rolling stocks and equipment in good working condition and ensure their longevity and safety.
Starting from the shoreline of Stulang Laut, the 750 metres long marine #viaduct is currently progressing as planned.
In accordance to the bilateral agreement signed between two countries, the project is expected to be completed at the end of 2026.

The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has carried out a surprise Detailed Inspection on the Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link Project to ensure compliance with the approved Railway Scheme.
The inspection is carried out for the purpose of monitoring the progress of the project in order to comply with all of the requirements set by the stakeholders.

Crossing the #Straits of #Tebrau, the Marine Viaduct terrestrial bridge is 750 meters long from the shoreline of Stulang Laut.
Moreover, few meters from the #Malaysia - #Singapore #border, pier 47 will be the penultimate pier for the RTS Link Project on the Malaysian’s side and will be connected by a drop-in span with pier 48 from the Singaporean’s side.
