I saw this #RPG at our local flea market, thought it sounded interesting, and was only $10 bucks.
I really don't know much about it other then it was based on a comic strip, and it's anthropomorphic science fiction (it says so right on the cover)

I am a tired Owlbear. I can't think of anything clever to add to that, so imma just give my game recommendation and pop off to sleep.

I mentioned Lancer the #ttrpg when I was recommending a tactical rpg computer game based on it. Seems fitting enough to recommend the game itself.

Lancer is a game about Mecha pilots and crews. It's got a great, kinda gritty setting, modular mech design rules, tactical combat, *and* systems that support narrative development and character forward storytelling. The game's kinda got it all, and I'm impressed.

Does it do everything perfectly? Of course not. But it does everything it sets out to do well, and it gets my highest recommendation.

Now if only I could find someone to run it for me…

I've become a published Transformers writer

The Transformers One sourcebook for the official Transformers RPG is meant to allow roleplayers to play in the time when the Autobots and Decepticons got their start.

Since the movie shows the factions splitting apart, it was felt this requires some advice on how to play. And that's where I came in! Pretty happy with how this turned out.

A very good friend of mine was extolling the virtues of Pierre Bottero and his famous Ewilan's Cycle. This summer, I grabbed my bookmark with both hands and dove into Gwendalavir. Unsurprisingly, I came away with a furious desire to turn it into a role-playing game. And since there was no way I was going to introduce myself without taking care of the staging, here are various game elements I created especially for the occasion.

Une très bonne amie me vantait les mérites de Pierre Bottero et de son fameux cycle d’Ewilan. Cet été, j’ai pris mon marque-page à deux mains et j’ai plongé dans Gwendalavir. Sans surprise, j’en suis ressorti avec une furieuse envie d’en faire un jeu de rôle. The Elder Scrolls saga is one of the pillars of video game culture. Whether it's Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, or more recently the Online version, many players have already had the opportunity to explore Tamriel and enjoy its pleasures.

I've created a children's puzzle where each piece represents a distinct region. Each piece is marked with a color to make it easier to assemble, and the precise contours are engraved on the underside.

🇫🇷 Parce qu'il n'est jamais trop tôt pour découvrir The Elder Scrolls ! Le Dirty Clean Crew reprend ses JAM et pour le premier thème, c'est du lourd ! La saga des Elder Scrolls est l'un des piliers de la culture du jeu vidéo. Que ce soit Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, ou plus récemment la version Online, beaucoup de joueuses et de joueurs ont déjà eu l'occasion de parcourir Tamriel et de goûter à ses plaisirs.

De mon côté, j'ai choisi de mettre à l'honneur le gigantisme de cet univers en réalisant un puzzle pour enfant où chaque pièce est une région distincte. Elle est marquée d'une couleur pour faciliter l'assemblage et une gravure reprend les contours précis sur le dessous. Le temps contraint ne m'a pas forcément permis de peaufiner tous les détails, mais je trouve le résultat plutôt satisfaisant et j'aimerais d'ailleurs avoir votre avis à toutes et tous.

This is a special dice tower in terms of form and content. It's designed for 20mm-sided dice, but as the groove is much wider (40mm), it's also possible to throw several smaller dice simultaneously. I've also added three slots for storing dice inside the bottle. The whole thing is held together with magnets. The label was designed by myself using the official visuals.

Voici donc une tour à dés particulière par sa forme et son contenu. Elle est conçue pour des dés de 20mm de côté, mais la gorge étant bien plus large (40mm), il est également possible de lancer plusieurs dés plus petits simultanément. J'ai aussi ajouté trois logements afin de stocker des dés à l'intérieur de la bouteille. Le tout est maintenu avec des aimants. L'étiquette a été réalisée par mes soins à partir des visuels officiels.
