Rottnest Island, Western Australia, is famously home to the quokka - the cute cat-sized marsupial and only native mammal on Rottnest.
The island also provides nesting sites for several pairs of osprey each year. One of these nests, located near Salmon Point, is estimated to be over 70 years old.
