As I’m pumped with steroids, my sinuses keep getting better… I can now force air through both nose holes, I can actually clear the nose and I don’t remember being happy about crying over an onion, like ever…😂
It’s been only a week, so I have observed no side effects but the list is as long as the list of things the medicine is prescribed for…😂
I need to contact my doctor so we can taper the dosage down, though…😔
Anyways, hoping for the best…🙈

I should have mentioned that I took Claritin D for sinus symptoms for about 8 years. Turns out maybe I never really needed it.
I don’t go to doctors anymore. They aren’t interested in me, only my symptoms. I’ll probably die in ignorance of what might be wrong next time.

I’ve been struggling with a #headache behind my right eyebrow since Friday last week. I’ve reluctantly been taking paracetamol and/or ibuprofen with varying degrees of success ever since, it dulls the pain rather than eliminates it, and it keeps coming back and I just can’t shift it.
It was crippling me earlier #today and I don’t know why it’s taken me almost a week to suddenly think “#Sinuses!” but I got there in the end and honestly, #pseudoephedrine might just be the best thing ever.
I really thought it was just my #sinuses, and not an #earthquake that I felt an hour ago. 😝 #EQNZ

I was one of those lucky people who never contracted COVID. I thought, wow my immune system is tough! So, halfway through our trip to #Italy I started to develop #sinus #infection-like symptoms that later turned out to be #COVID. Somehow it didn’t get nasty until we returned home. For the past week it’s been hell dealing with the sticky nasty #mucus clogging my #lungs and #sinuses. Then on Tuesday, I remembered something my dad used to do. He called it tenting. You boil a pot of water with some Vaporub or essential oil like eucalyptus, then tent yourself over it with a bath towel and inhale the #steam. Like magic, I was finally able to start clearing the gunk.

Is there some trick to using a Neti pot that I'm missing? I use distilled water and the salt packets you can buy at CVS. I pour half thru one nostril and half thru the other. And it does nothing that I can tell. My husband says it gives him so much relief, he can feel/hear his ears and sinuses popping and gunk comes out, etc. But it has never done a dang thing for me, which is frustrating bc I know it works wonders for some folks! #NetiPot #Congested #Sick #Sinuses

I have a #septum #deviation and I've been operated on my #sinuses several times. Two days ago, a doctor I don't know just made me cry out in pain because of a COVID swab, and believe me I'm not afraid of pain. I never understand why health practicioners sometimes are so brutal.
Two days later it still hurt.
Why is #fluticasone applied as a nasal spray and not a #sinus #rinse? Seems like most of it just falls out of your nose and even when applied correctly does not come in contact with inflamed #sinuses. #budesonide on the other hand seems to be recommended for #nasal #irrigation?
