@pvonhellermannn @NatureMC Intact #Forests can store and redistribute a lot of water - they can also buffer heavy rainfall events in summer because the rain reaches the ground with a time delay, giving the soil more time to absorb the water.
For urban areas, the #SpongeCities concept is gaining more and more attention.

When I search the internet for "aquaplanning", I only find results for "aquaplaning". 🤔😉
