Today I learned there is a solitary, elderly yellow bellied marmot named Roger that lives at the Fairmont Empress hotel in Victoria, BC. He's not really supposed to be there (we only have mountain marmots here on Vancouver Island), but he's called the place home for 17 years and lives off the manicured gardens. lol.

This opposition to renewable power generation and storage is indicative of a poorly informed public. The onus is on the Victorian govt and investors to conduct extensive consultations and education sessions.

I’d love for the ABC to do a piece on the pros and cons of renewable energy projects. We hear a lot about project being objected to but nothing post-project implementation. Maybe good news isn’t newsworthy anymore…
