#knitters ! I need some #knitting needle shopping help.

Must meet all the following requirements:

- Available to buy in the UK
- 7 to 10 inches length [18 -26 (ish) cm ] No Longer
- Metal or plastic. Not Wood. Not Bamboo
- Not Circular. I don't want the ends attached
- 3mm or 2mm.
( Actually want to buy both a 3mm and a 2mm pair)

Do these exist?

Started knitting and crocheting something with 2 mm needles and have decided that is the limit for my hands / fingers / eyes.

Anything lower is basically making lace / and or creating with wire and needle tools.

I have great admiration for those creating in more miniature than that - but it's not for me.

Yeah Fat Quarters is an unfortunate measurement shorthand, but I don't think linguistically it's going anywhere.

Everyone of every body shape and every mobility ability - DESERVES clothes that fit them they way they want too!

I deem everyone that does #Sewing / #YarnCraft math (eg making things from cloth or yarn) a #CraftWitch (irregardless of gender) and we are all AMAZING.

Uh oh.

Have slowly been making a blanket with looped yarn, am around one quarter done 26 rows, realized that around 8 rows ago I made a mistake for 3 rows🤦🏾‍♀️

Mistake is consistent and this is something made to be folded and sat on so I've decided there is NO WAY* I'm gonna froggit, just gonna march onwards.. but yeah.

Decided to go visit my local craft centre today, which houses my LYS (Local Yarn Store) and forgot how much I loved being surrounded by yarn.

Found a couple of possible contenders for wool choice for my first big project. I'm not making it easy on myself by trying to find all natural fibres, or with as little plastic as possible.

I found one brand that uses biodegradable polyamide, so that's really cool!

Because of @sarajw who shared their project, I got some supplies over the weekend to learn Tunisian Crochet. The hooks and yarn are cool, but the book that arrived today was very poor.

For a book teaching you how to do a complicated craft, there were 0 pictures. The author just says "insert hook into the first bar and continue across the row" 😒
Instantly got a refund and don't even need to return it.
New book ordered.

I wrote a shawl pattern this week, taking elements from a couple of existing patterns as none I could find were working how I wanted.

I stopped the tester at this point because I know the theory works, and I needed to get started on the actual shawl!

I'm very happy with how it's worked out and can't wait to see the finished article!

I had been too sick to craft for about a week which has bummed me out immensely. I also use crafting to help manage what I now know is #ADHD Today I finally felt a bit better so I picked up my hook, though I am not sure the finished product will fit me since I've put on weight (I was 2 dress sizes smaller when i started it). But it's a fun project and I plan to make more. Pattern is Elf Coat by Morale Fiber. Craft is #TunisianCrochet #YarnCraft
