Will they be willing to protect and serve or do #trumpliesmatter? #massdeportation is an expensive distraction. It siphons off resources that could be used to addressing real world, immediate needs like crime, #climatemergency response, community health, etc.

Most of the shelter directors and volunteers are middle to upper class. Most of the residents are working class and poor, and now have lost everything to the floods.

We definetly need to move away from starting a common climate change conversation or presentation with

„There’s no doubt anymore that it’s man made because…“

and move more towards

„We’re in a climate emergency because…“

Really, most people have understood it’s us. What many don’t know or fail to admit is that it’s indeed a crisis and we need to go into emergency mode.
