The corporation should hold their heads in shame but with Gibb at the helm I can not see that happening. They have learnt nothing after their climate change coverage.

I was listening to Newscast the other day, and Chris Mason talked intelligently about the need to explain that Sunak's £2000 line was at best dubious. I was really struck by this, since it was so at odds with the BBC's approach normally, which is to abdicate any responsibility to scrutinize.
Do I exaggerate? Sure, I am particularly concerned with their coverage (or promotion) of climate change denial, anti-trans hate and the far right generally, but I could go on.
