I saw how they cut a big pig into pieces today, it was heartbreaking. I mean its better than slaughterhouses and I think the families shared it as there were many people gathering but it's so terrifying to see those dead eyes and to know that innocent life was taken. I wish more people would understand 😒

By #rewilding the land, through allowing nature to flourish and planting trees, the Vegan Land Movement has totally transformed the areas of land it has purchased. From barren grazing land, the parcels are now thriving with life – and, not to forget, the land will no longer be used for exploiting animals.
#PlantBasedTreaty has asked the UN to show climate action leadership by encouraging climate conferences to provide 100% plant-based catering.
They are at the Bonn Climate Conference giving out free vegan food and distributing their new position paper, 21 Cities call for a global Plant Based Treaty. The UN has published their submission on their website for the Global Stocktake of the #ParisAgreement.

Instead of animal poo on farms, some farmers use only plants - green manures. These do not leach nutrients in the rain like muck-spreading and fertilisers. Nutrients are locked in complex organics. Crucially, crop plant roots have been shown to unlock those nutrients as needed.
