It was one of the first computers available that used the 6502 cpu. An expansion included a #BASIC interpreter, greatly lowering the entry cost for home computing.

Eigentlich wollte ich keine #Schreibmaschinen, doch nun sind ein paar dazu gekommen....
Einer davon ist ein echter Zwitter zwischen Computer und Schreibmaschine: Ein TA Gabriela Inkwriter 3 - mit #Diskettenlaufwerk und Monitor.

Und der Monitor macht ein interessantes Bild auf dem Handy. Die gelben Bereiche sind real nicht zu sehen,nur auf dem Handy.

Started on my keyboard mounting brackets for the Tandy 1500HD project. Nothing too crazy here - each bracket has two mounting points on the original Tandy chassis, and three posts that match up to screw holes on the keyboard PCB. The one on the right side is just about perfect, needs to have the posts offset a bit to line the keyboard up side-to-side. The bracket for the left side needs to have a little section scooped out to clear another threaded insert on the Tandy housing. Luckily these only take 30 minutes to print (for the pair).

I'll do one more bracket for the center of the keyboard as well, then start working on the bezel that will seal the gap between the keyboard and the Tandy housing!

It was Turing-complete and able to solve "a large class of numerical problems" through #programming

having cost $487,000 (equivalent to $7,000,000 in 2024), and called a "Giant Brain" by the press. It had a speed on the order of one thousand times faster than that of electro-mechanical machines.

It's the original Box of the mainboard, but a bit in a bad shape. looks like it was not always in a dry environment.
But beside that, everything inside looks fantastic. Every single piece is originally sealed. :-O This was a real steal for just 32€

It's a Micronics Spitfire EX (09-00302-XX) Dual SLOT 1 Mainboard from 1997.
