Also some private companies make experiments like this: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/can-worlds-first-space-sweeper-make-dent-orbiting-debris-180978515/ but you know the promises of all the "cleaners" for plastic pollution on earth that never worked.

The ISO/TC20/SC14 "Space Systems and Oprations" in Tsukuba/Japan is now finished. In the working group "orbital debris mitigation" we decided - among other things - to revise ISO 24113, our main space debris mitigation standard. We need stricter requirements to ensure sustainable use of space.
