Right friends after a LOT of work here we go with the 0.3.2 release of bovine for #selfhosted #forgejo or #gitea #staticwebsite #staticsite just like GitHub/GitLab Pages!

This brings lots of new features from 0.3.x and 0.2.0. This includes the BIG changes from 0.3.x which allows serving sites from other branches, meaning you can test before you release!

Writing plain HTML and CSS is much more fun than you think.
HTML can get boring quickly so I suggest you try a static page generator to go from markdown to HTML.

@hannorein My website is static, and sometimes I wish it wasn't. It's hard to make a sweeping change unless it's an easy search/replace. Still, I prefer simplicity over complication. The current generation of "modern" websites are basically unusable in my opinion. For example, try scrolling through this monstrosity...
