So, it’s March 16, 2025, and this 80-year-old Brit is done with social media. He’s back to blogging from his council flat in Worksop. He spends his days walking around a pond and up the canal taking tons of photos with his new Nikon lens. He usually snaps about 250 pics daily—sometimes hitting 900 if he’s out for a long stroll. Just to give you an idea, his recent shots include everything from a scruffy Canada goose to the first forget-me-nots of spring.

Die Reiherente fand es nicht witzig, dass ich am Ufer auftauchte. Sie schaute mich SO an, drehte ruhig ab und hielt sich dann außerhalb der Fotoreichweite. Is klar, ich geh ja schon!

We continue to have lots of interest on the #lake. On #Tuesday I managed to get a picture of a pair of #TuftedDuck and then a pair of #Mallard joined them.

Wednesday saw yes another #Muntjac deer which I photographed through our patio doors.
