Finally managed to get #wled firmware working on a good old #esp8266 board that was lying in the part box unused.
I need more #RGB in my life!
Published the #WLED #ws2812 matrix projector on printables:

it uses resin printed optics as well as a cheap Fresnel magnifier lens to project 8x8 LED matrix modules running WLED.
Avete presente quelle tv nei supermercati che dietro hanno i led che illuminano la parete in base all'immagine? Ecco, ho trovato il modo per ricreare lo stesso effetto.
Il tutto funziona con un #ESP32 con sopra installato #WLED e una striscia #led #WS2812b e un semplice programma multipiattaforma chiamato Hyperion che si occupa di catturare l'immagine a schermo e trasferirla a WLED. Trovate le guide per entrambi ovunque nel web

I really wanted to mount my theater speakers on a crossbeam but I couldn't find a bracket strong enough to hold them, so I got some floor stands that needed to be raised up a tiny bit more.
This is my first time using my drill press and dowels and I absolutely love the results!! Black stain with a semi-gloss poly.

Hab ich eigentlich schon das Ergebnis des letzten #3DDruck Prototypen gezeigt?
Ich glaube nicht, somit bekommt ihr jetzt einen kurze Demo von dem neuen Licht-Puk, der als LED-Timer eingesetzt wird. Natürlich mit Akku und USB-C zum Laden.
Optional kommt mittig noch ein Taster hin um ein 10 Minuten Interval zu starten, in dem nach und nach immer weniger LEDs leuchten werden.
Umgesetzt mit eigenen Modellen und #wled .
TIL: man kann eine einzelne SK6812 LED als levelshifter von 3.3V auf 5V missbrauchen 💡

Ok now I know of the *IMPROV* protocol, used by WLED, and ESPHome, and possibly Tasmotiser...
Fun.
My new flasher board understand it, so should be able to flash and WiFi provision all of these now. #WLED testing is working.

Learn here how to install the wLED binary, which means flashing your ESP32 microcontroller.
Make sure your power source is constant, which means use a uninterruptible power supply, UPS, at least while you are flashing!

This is een important word of warning from the wLED Creator
New setups should use the ESP32 not the dated ESP8266 because that micro controller reaches end of life / end of support soon. The ESP32 also has Bluetooth which The ESP8266 lacks.
