Does anybody know any good accessibility keyboards/mouse for people with Essential Tremors? The tremors are not super severe but the person that needs it can't use a regular keyboard.

I was wondering. Is there an OSS alternative for real time subtitles aimed for the deaf and people with limited hearing?
I could have sworn there was something that can create subtitles in realtime that isn't a proprietary closed source mess

As it turns out, #MacOS doesn't have any #accesibility options available during first setup. No Magnifier, no Screen Keyboard, nothing. You also cannot connect any #bluetooth accessory during the initial setup.
So now my parents are stuck with #Mac Mini serving as a paperweight until they get a USB-C hub, cuz they didn't realize you cannot connect your Bluetooth keyboard to Mac during initial setup.
What year is it? 1999?
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! I'm a better learner this way! I'm happy, it willstill be a bit rough but not as frustrating and overwhelming. I might also be able to incorprate this into my classes, once we get there, maybe as a fun little exercise? I'm a very, very happy camper right now. A lot of forum software (not just on retro computing or history) embed image smileys in their messages translated from text-smileys. It seems they missed that a lot of them have made their way into Unicode, making it not just easier to display but also a lot easier for visually impaired. So, please software developers, use the Unicode characters whenever possible.

Por eso en el #fediverso procuramos ayudarlos escribiendo textos alternativos a las imágenes que compartimos. Si vais a #SETTINGS #ACCESIBILITY podéis activar estas dos funciones para ver los textos alternativos (a veces es una forma de esconder un chiste) y para que la app os recuerde escribir un texto para cada imagen y ayudar un poco a los demás.
