#SaladGreens

Front yard, volunteer buttercrunch #lettuce is doing well. It grew itself from crevice beside our front walkway. Waiting for it to grow larger before harvesting.

Purple #kale & #sorrel - plant these once, you'll have both growing as long as you keep harvesting & don't let them bolt. Let them bolt, if you're wanting to collect seeds to sow in different spots.

#PakChoi #plants in 3 gallon pots.
“Pak Choi” translates to “white vegetable” in Cantonese due to their white stems. Cultivation began in the #YangtzeRiver Delta region & spread to other parts of Asia, thanks to traders & migrating populations.

Pak choi looks almost identical to bok choy but they're two different plants. Pak choi has darker leaves as it matures. Pak choi stems are white, more visibly so when matured. Bok choy stems are pale green. Pak choi has more of a peppery undertone taste, while bok choy has subtle sweetness. We grow both of these similar plants in our backyard food gardens.

I have 3 blueberry plants & only one has produced berries so far.

Touching my toms.
The siletz #tomatoes are doing well outdoors 👩‍🌾

When pruning your tomatoes - save some of the leaves to soak for 24 hrs with water & make natural pest repellent spray that you can use on plants not in the nightshade family. It helps with getting rid of aphids & their eggs & with several other garden pests.

2 more pretty pink & purple #borage #flowers bloomed today 🤗 They've been visited by several bees already.

One of the #RedRose plants I rescued/dug up from construction demolition site, 5 years ago, produces a lot of #roses. They smell fabulous too!

My burgundy lace-cap #hydrangeas are now sporting flower bud heads 😁 I love the #foliage on them. Their flowers are gorgeous too. I propagated all of mine from 3 cuttings, just over 4 years ago.
