Auracast – Stand EUHA 2025
Herstellerstimmen und Praxisworkshop

Neben der künstlichen Intelligenz war das zweite heiße Thema auf der EUHA (dem europäischen Hörakustikkongress) die neue Bluetooth-Funktion Auracast. Auracast wurde in den letzten Jahren entwickelt, um energiearmes, hochqualitatives Audiostreaming auf mehrere Empfänger zu ermöglichen. Es wurde insbesondere zusammen mit Hörsystemherstellern entwickelt, so dass es auch für Hörgeräte funktioniert. Auf der EUHA 2025 habe ich mit allen großen Hörgeräteherstellern gesprochen, um herauszufinden, wie es um Auracast in ihren Produkten und um ihre Zukunftsplänen steht. Außerdem nahm ich an einem sehr interessanten Workshop zum Thema teil.

Spending about two days on this project so far, it involves reverse engineering #BluetoothLE commands. This product which shall remain nameless comes with an #Android app and the app is terrible, and slow, doesn't come with like home assistant/Google/Alexa. Of course no documentation. For the record, and as far as I've found out, #AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 chips (present in the most recent @frameworkcomputer #Laptop13, for example) dont support #BluetoothLE.

Which is a pity and turned my so promising synth-geeking-lunch-break into a exhausting-forum-search-session-to-fix-something-that-couldn't-be-fixed.

Ich habe Probleme, mein #fairphone3 mit #eos (V2.3 / Android 13) stabil mit meinem #HRM via #bluetoothle zu nutzen.
Koppeln funktioniert, aber von Zeit zu Zeit empfängt das Smarti keine Daten mehr vom Sensor. Bisher ist der einzige Workaround, #Bluetooth und Netzwerk komplett zurück zu setzen. Man muss dann alles (Wifi, Bluetooth-Geräte) neu koppeln und einrichten.
Weiß jemand eine bessere Lösung?
