Last month has been really busy with school, but luckily there is only one week left before Christmas break 🥹 I'm also missing the sun since the weather in this past month has been so grey and wet. Not a sight of beautiful winter wonderland 😭

Teylers Museum

The oldest museum in the Netherlands can be found in Haarlem, my home town. They have a Michelangelo exhibition now. I don't know if it's because of this, or if it's a more permanent change, but since a couple of weeks, the entrance is illuminated in these three colours. It suits the building quite well, I think. Left of the museum, the tower of the Grote Kerk (or Great Church) can be seen.

I came back home from my holiday to Porto a few days ago and I got so many cool photos on the trip, that I don't even know where to start with the posts! Porto had so much to see: beautiful buildings, ceramic tiles, views from the top of the hills and street art (just to name a few).

It's been a while since my last trip abroad, and I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy just walking around a city with a camera constantly around my neck. I should do this also in my home city, but for some reason it's just different 😅

Office buildings along the Nieuwe Maas River in Rotterdam at sunset (blue hour), a few months ago. The large building on the left is "De Rotterdam," designed by OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture). It contains offices, apartments, and a hotel. Next to it is the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. This served as the arrival and departure hall for the Holland-America Line and is now an industrial heritage site.
