I have my mails at Countermail, they are all PGP encrypted in the mailbox.
Now I want to move to mailbox.org. I can move all the mails, but I can't open them on the web, because I can't store my old PGP key in the mailbox gui. Anybody has an idea how I can best solve this?

@abimelechbeutelbilch Ich nutze dafür #etesync. Für Fotos nutze ich #immich und für Mails bin ich bei #countermail.
Meine #Protonmail Subskription läuft heute aus. Ich überlege, ob ich in dem #WalletGarden bleibe oder doch liebe #Etesync nutze, um wenigstens #CalDav und #Cardav nutzen zu können.

@hbenjamin @floppy It’s impossible to know which ESPs do not do shady things with your data. The only certainty you have is when they admit to doing shady things, or they get caught. So if you rule out Google, MS, Yahoo, & the like, you have danwin1210.me, disroot, onionmail.info, #riseup, cock.li, #counterMail, Hush etc. You should use PGP to secure your payloads but the metadata is still exposed.

@jpaul it depends on the scenario. The best move for expert users doesn't change, which is to use an ESP like danwin or onionmail w/a PGP-capable MUA like mutt or Thunderbird. For novice users it's non-trivial, but generally #tutanota, #hushmail, or #countermail.
