I've run into a problem. I want to have a section that talks about how I implemented Exponential Moving Averages, because I wasn't able to find much information on how to do so when your data does not have a fixed rate.
Problem is, it's gonna be long. Maybe long enough to deserve a post of its own.
Maybe this can be added to entry 2, which so far isn't very complicated. I think that a laymen could read it and know what's going on, even if they don't know how it works under the hood. This would invalidate that.
Maybe this can be added to entry 3, except that plan is already information dense. It deals with discussions about a stigmatized population, which means you need to include background information, and this would probably put it over the acceptable length of a post.
Maybe I could make it its own post, but then there is an episode 2.5 which is dedicated to a single function and the annoying math behind it.
Maybe I skip it entirely, but then this will still be difficult for the next person to do, and I will be leaving out one of the hardest parts of implementing this pair of entries.
What should I do? :boost:
