One month with the Supernote Manta
Ok maybe a bit more than a month because I got it December 19th or so, but let’s not quibble.
I bought it because I wanted to be able to keep more history of notes with me for work. I don’t need much integration with anything like One Note, just my notes, in a slim package. Oh, and no worries about ink.
Endless separate notebooks and pages, search, keywords, headings, and all the rest are really nice extras to the extent that they work. More on that later.
A month +in, and I’ve yet to go back to a paper notebook for work or my journal, or even a legal pad for my various lists. I really doubted it would happen. Will it last?

I'm considering a tablet from remarkable. Not sure how well it works with Linux 🤔 does anyone have experience? I'm guessing I could transfer files without their app, but they sure do mention it a lot. Don't want to be stuck using android to sync. Can I export notes in a reasonable format?
E Ink tablets in 2026? Apparently, they're not just for your grandpa's e-reader anymore! Color E Ink is here, and prices are climbing faster than a junior dev's caffeine intake.
The big question: are these "distraction-free" devices truly worth the premium, or just a digital notebook with extra steps and an even bigger price tag?

I've had an e-ink e-reader for nearly a decade, but now that I've had a 10" monochrome Android e-ink tablet for a couple of months, I think I've joined the cult. I always want to spend time on it instead of my phone or laptop.
Back in the innocent days of 2012, I backed the Pebble smartwatch on Kickstarter. It was awesome.
