@dillyd His (sorry, it’s a man) name is Git’weedzarat, or Person-With-Large-Nose, and he is a crest belonging to the Wolf clan of the Gitanyow tribe.
[Edit: Above is from Barbeau (1929) but Duff (1959) is more reliable. Gitanyow told him the figure is a woman named Will-a-Daugh. She birthed a grub-worm that destroyed her village & was killed. In despair she drowned herself. The crest is indeed a mother holding her child. @dillyd was correct.]
