Pues ya son dos #kernel las que estan dando problemas con mi #LinuxMint 21.3, la 5.15.0-163 y la 5.15-0-164. Se queda la pantalla en negro al iniciarse.

Aprovecho este viernes para cumplir con la tradición y publicar capturas de mi escritorio. Amo la funcionalidad de Cinammon para elegir el color de énfasis del sistema 🤩. Y con el perdón del tema de íconos predeterminado de Mint, que no está mal, prefiero Papyrus. ¡Qué exhaustividad! Tienen hasta íconos de redes sociales 🙌. Pero me sorprende que no tengan uno de Mastodon 🤨

Well this is rather vexing and more than a bit frustrating. I can not tell what I have done differently, but I am unable to convince #LinuxMint post reinstallation that it should launch different versions of Bitwig Studio. This is essential to my being able to be creative.

I have repeated my own instructions to myself and can get the splash screens to appear for a short time, but the application will not launch.

This is more than a bit disappointing as it leaves me with vast doubts as to if I should even be trying to exist in a #Linux environment where an errant tilde "~" can completely ruin one's experience of liberation and perceived freedom.

This is all feeling a bit too difficult for today and the times.

Ich bin ja ein #Blindfisch geworden... Ich habe ein iPad (sehr gute Blindfisch-Optionen, das neue Glas-Design ist nicht so toll). #LinuxMint läuft auf Notebook und PC (konsistent gut für Blindfische).
Und gestern dann am Windoze-Notebook...
Die Schrift in den Einstellungen ist 3x so groß, als ich sie bräuchte. Irgendwelche WinXP-Fensterchen sind nur halb so groß (z.B. Dateieigenschaften) und ein Programm hatte so mieses Design, dass es doppelt so groß wie die Einstellungen war. #Windoof 🤮

#LinuxMint and #Linux in general friends, I have a question for you. I've just used #TimeShift to roll back my system as I had accidentally typed a stupid command into the terminal (rm -r ~ ((is the use of a tilde as a system naming variable as dangerous as "*"?))) and I was worried I had removed things I shouldn't have and I rolled back to my last TimeShift snapshot.

So far no issues. Reboot. Where are have my desktop items gone? Replacing launcher items was not hard, but a custom script for enabling RT audio features was gone. Where did it go? Why did it go?

Thankfully I have instructions on making this on my website so I'm back where I wanted to be, but I am unclear why my Desktop was reset on a TimeShift rollback (the Desktop items were all there on the last TimeShift).

Does anyone already have their compose key set up to type Braille?
