Estoy preparando mi vieja #Acer4739z para donarla y, dado que lo más probable es que llegue a manos de alguien acostumbrado a #Windows, he estado pensando en tres distros de #Linux para instalarle.
La primera, por supuesto, @linuxmint con #Cinnamon y ese Look muy de #Win7
Las otras dos usan @kde #Plasma como ambiente de escritorio.
Una es @fedora, la otra es @kubuntu (24.04 LTS, para más estabilidad).
¿Cuál puede ser un buen primer paso a un perfecto desconocido?

Essa é uma leve personalização que fiz no Linux Mint que está instalado no meu notebook antigo, um velho Dell Inspiron 5558 que tenho desde 2016.

Posso falar que, tirando o Gnome, o Cinnamon é um dos ambientes GTK que mais me agrada, principalmente por ele conseguir ser bonito e bem personalizável. E quem sabe, eu possa dar uma chance ao Cinnamon em meu notebook principal, assim que der vontade de instalar ele.
Ou quem sabe, eu instale um Debian com Cinnamon naquele meu SSD portátil, para ter um SO para poder andar com ele por aí.

I love #linuxmint now. So easy to reconfig #cinnamon to make a nice desktop. Modelled mine on my Mac. Didn’t want an exact copy, but like to find things in a similar place.
