i got a cable for the CMS, plugged it in and it booted into System 6!! my drawings from over 30 yrs ago were on the desktop. i tried to open one but this caused a crash, and now i cant get the disk to spin up again, its just stuck making this clicking noise 😢 #Macintosh #VintageApple #RetroComputing

I’ve been saying Apple’s 2015 typeface San Francisco (https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/39620/san-francisco) should have been called something else to avoid usurping the 1984 Susan Kare classic (https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/31774/san-francisco-1984).

Like maybe “Cupertino”.

But it turns out that was already taken in 1984 by a bitmap copy of Motter Tektura (https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/10214/motter-tektura)

le #macintosh G3 est tout propre, j'ai nettoyé les pattes, collé des bouts de patin de chaise dessous pour remplacer les caoutchouc d'origine qui ont disparu et j'ai formaté puis réinstallé Mac OS 9.2 :)

il faut que je remplace la pile mais sinon tout fonctionne (bon j'ai pas pu tester le lecteur ZIP !) ; comme il y a un deuxième disque dur je vais mettre Mac OS X, je peux installer jusqu'à Tiger :blob_cat:
