Deep Space 2020 | 30×40 cm
As a child, sci-fi was my favourite genre. Growing up in 1980s Soviet Russia, we didn’t have shows like Star Trek— I caught up later. It was the work of Soviet sci-fi authors that first sparked my love for the genre. Stories set in deep space, especially, always made me reflect on my own place in the universe.

I really have to remember that it's okay to make something with no plan for how it will turn out and that experimenting in art isn't wasteful.
